Komplete Kontrol Stand-alone Preferences Dialog Macros version 1.4 This macro group makes several dynamically-changing macro palettes available whenever the Preferences dialog is opened in the stand-alone version of Komplete Kontrol. Delete any previous macro groups Named "Komplete Kontrol Preferences Dialog" and import the new macro group. Starting with Keyboard Maestro version 8, go to the File menu and navigate down to the "Import Macros Disabled" menu item. Hold down the Option key and the item will change to "Import Macros." While holding down the Option key, press Return and navigate to the macro file you wish to import and press Return. In Komplete Kontrol stand-alone, press Command+comma to bring up the Preferences dialog. The following shortcuts will become available: 1. Audio Tab, Command+1. 2. MIDI Tab, Command+2. 3. General Tab, Command+3. 4. Library Tab, Command+4. 5. Plug-Ins Tab, Command+5, and 6. Hardware Tab, Command+6. Each tab contains controls that are often specific to that tab but sometimes contains controls that are common to some other tabs. As this macro group is a work in progress, some tabs currently have no items available. As they become available, pressing the corresponding tab shortcut will bring up a palette of available macros. Occasionally, there might be sub tabs to click before certain controls become available. In each case, a new palette of macros is displayed until the final set of buttons appears. Listed below are the tabs that currently contain macros: Audio Tab, Command+1: Brings up Palette for Driver and Device pop-up menus. Clicking either button will position the mouse pointer on the respective pop-up menus. Click the mouse pointer with VO+Shift+Space Bar to open the menu itself. Use the Flo Mouse movement macro shortcut (Command+Option+Shift+down arrow) twice to move the mouse pointer down 20 points to the first menu item. Moving downward by 20 points will subsequently position the mouse pointer for other items in the list. Click once again to select an item in the pop-up menu. Note that the 20 point downward interval is accurate for at least 6 menu items and perhaps 7 but the accuracy is currently not guaranteed beyond 6. MIDI Tab, Command+2: Brings up a palette for the Input and Output sub tabs. Note that it's possible to use the i key to select the Input button macro and the o key to select the Output button macro in this palette. Upon selecting one of the sub tabs, another palette will come up with macros for moving the mouse pointer to the respective items within the table found in the Input or Output sub tabs. Click the mouse to check or uncheck the item. Library Tab, Command+4: Brings up palette for Factory sub tab and User sub tab. Factory sub tab: Contains the Rescan Factory Libraries button. User Sub Tab: Contains macros for Add Path to User Content, Rescan User Content and the "Scan User Content for Changes at Startup" checkbox. Note that you can either navigate the palette using VoiceOver or use first-letter navigation to narrow down the list which automatically executes the macro as soon as the first-letter navigation is resolved. While in the User sub tab of the Libraries tab, after having executed the "Speak Status of Scan User Content for Changes at startup checkbox, you can press Control U to toggle the state of the checkbox and it's updated status will be spoken. Plug-Ins Tab, Command+5: Brings up a palette for the Rescan Plug-ins button which also appears in the Library tab. . Press escape to exit any palette and press either Command+w or Escape to exit the Preferences dialog. Note that this set of macros will be updated with more elements in the future.
