Sometimes it's useful to do a small back-end tweak to stop the Audient product registration dialog showing up when you run their control panel. This was written based on EVO software, but there's only one small detail that's different for other products, covered below. 1. Go to your system tray with Windows+B, find the EVO icon, hit context menu on it and quit. It's super important to do this first or none of the below steps will stick. 2. Go to the Audient resource path, you can get there by pasting this next line into your run dialog: %AppData%\Audient\EVO 3. In there, you'll find a file called state.xml. Open that in a clean editor, notepad will do fine. Note: if you've got multiple configs saved, those are stored in the Presets folder and you can apply the tweak to each of them if needed. 4. Go to the bottom of the XML file and read upward by line until you find this: It's usually somewhere around 11 lines up from the bottom. Note that if you have some other Audient product, the start of your line might look a bit different, it might say ID instead of EVO or whatever. 5. Near the end of that line, you'll find there's a 1 in quotes. Change it to a 0. Be careful not to modify any of the other characters around it or the indentation at the start of the line, xml can be kinda fragile. 6. Hit save, close the file. 7. Now you can type evo into the start menu search to relaunch the software. This time, you shouldn't get the registration prompt. Last update: 28th April by Scott
