Hi! These resources are now on a self-hosted server, making them easier to access, easier to search, open for anyone to contribute, and we can now store more resources than the previous Dropbox used to allow.

We're calling this The Hoard, as in, collection of valuable things. You can get to it in your browser by typing hoard.reaperaccessibility.com in your address bar, and you might want to save that as a bookmark.

Click here to open The Hoard in your browser.

Here are a collection of tips to help you get familiar with the new setup.

Navigating The Hoard in a browser:

Accessing The Hoard on Windows desktop:

Although the in-browser accessibility is really good, we're also providing a portable copy of a free, open source and accessible app called WinSCP that's all set up and ready to go, so if you want, you can use that to browse The Hoard on your desktop. Here's how:

  1. Download the preconfigured copy of WinSCP
  2. Unzip it, you'll find a file called "Access the Hoard on your desktop using portable WinSCP"
  3. Simply press Enter on that to launch the app, hit Enter once more to sail through the login prompt, then press Tab once to focus the list view where you'll find all the files

Boom, you've got a desktop interface that will feel quite familiar. Arrows navigate, Enter selects/opens, context menu for options etc.

Configuration Notes for Nerds:

Technically it's possible to access the hoard from any app you like using secure webDav. We haven't included step by step instructions to get that going here because Explorer's webDav support is super buggy and at the moment, we can't promise to provide any support with third party software. However, if you already know how to use Mountain Duck, Total Commander or some other thing with good WebDav support, or if you already use WinSCP and just want to add The Hoard to your existing configuration, here are the details:

Mac users:

Navigating The Hoard in a browser is fine and dandy on Mac, however if you want, you can add The Hoard as a server and browse it in Finder for even faster access to the goodies. Here's how:

  1. Switch to your desktop, hit Command+K to connect a server.
  2. Type this address: https://webdav.hoard.reaperaccessibility.com
  3. Navigate with VO to find the Add button, hit that.
  4. Navigate to the Connect button, hit that too.
  5. You'll land in a login prompt. You don't need to provide a username or password here, just use VO or Tab to the Guest radiobutton, make sure it's selected and hit the Connect button one more time.

That's it! Now Hoard will be accessible as a remote volume alongside your system drive.

Whenever you decide you don't need the connection any more, just hit Command+E to eject.

Contributing New Stuff:

If you've got something useful to share, go to the Uploads folder, hit the Upload button near the top of the page and knock yourself out. An admin will check the folder each day and move new contributions into the relevant place.

Be sure to include your name in anything that you upload so we can give you a shout out in the recent changes.

Important Note: pirated content will be deleted by the first admin to see it. We're providing open, anonymous access as a convenience, that will change if it's not being used respectfully.

Who's Running The Hoard?

Toni Barth owns the server and is in charge of all things technical.
DRapid from rejetto.com develops HFS, the software we're using to share these resources.
Admins are Scott, JennyK and Chessel.
Shout out to Alexandru Cozaciuc for suggesting WinSCP explorer UI
Thanks to Octavian Rasnita for noticing I forgot to include WebDav details for existing WinSCP users
